What is the maximum current rating of your terminals?
Our terminals do not have a specific current rating. However, you should not exceed the maximum permitted current of the cable that you connect to it.
What is the fire resistance rating of your terminals?
Our V and BT series insulated terminals have a fire resistance rating of UL-94 V-0. Our AER, AES and Closed-End series terminals are UL-94 V-2.
Do you have a list of crimp heights for your products?
If you need the list of crimp height reference values to use with our designated tools, you can download it here.
Which tools should be used with your products?
Designated tools are listed in the catalogue. Please refer to it here.
It is stated that the products are RoHS compliant in the catalogue. Does this mean that the products are compliant with the revised RoHS directives?
The catalogue does refer to revised RoHS compliance. Our solderless terminals, R, RD, Y series and various others comply to RoHS 3 [(EU) 2015/863]. However, our insulated terminals only comply to RoHS 2 [2011/65/EU].
Where can I download your products’ certifications?
Issuing RoHS certification varies depending on the exact product(s). We issue certification per product upon customer request.
What certifications do your terminals have?

FAQ about Fuses
What is the voltage rating of your FGBO series fuses?
Regarding the voltage of the fuse, we use an interrupted rating test. The voltage rating for our FGBO series is 250V. The fuse has been tested at 250V 300A or 500A. The maximum voltage is 250V.
What is the breaking capacity of your fuses?
Our fuses are approved by the Electrical Appliance and Material Act in each category, and each breaking capacity is shown below:
Under AC125V 5A → 500A
Over AC125V 5A, under 15A → 500A
Over AC125V 15A, under 30A → 300A
Under AC250V 5A → 500A
Over AC250V 5A, under 15A → 300A
Over AC250V 15A, under 30A → 300A
What should I know about your glass tube fuses?
①Recommended preventive maintenance schedule when used in an electric circuit
This depends on the device’s characteristics, load factor, environment, etc., so we do not have a particular recommendation.
② Unused Lifespan
Storage Shelf Life: Two years after production date.
If you store the fuse for more than two years, its functionality depends on your storage environment; tarnishing may occur due to airborne oxides and sulfides. Always do a visual inspection. If you do not see any tarnishing, you can use the fuse.
Once you open the original packaging, store any unused fuses in sealed plastic.
What is the I2t value of your products?
It varies depending on the product. Please refer here for more information.
What are the concerns regarding using AC125V fuses on a DC line such as DC24V?
Our fuses are mainly for AC125V or 250V. However, the clearing time current is the same for both, so you can use our fuses with low voltages such as DC24V without any issues. We have some customers using DC24V in their secondary side controller.
It is stated that the products are RoHS compliant in the catalogue. Does this mean that the products are compliant with the revised RoHS directives?
Our FGBO and FGMB series are RoHS Compliant products, complying with RoHS 2 [2011/65/EU].
